Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatment is also known as the 'Vampire Facelift' and can be used on the face (including around the eyes, mouth and nose) and the rest of the body (commonly the backs of the hands, scars and décolletage) resulting in a more youthful looking appearance.

This treatment is not only rejuvenating but regenerative. Your own platelet rich blood plasma and associate growth factors are used to repair damaged tissues and skin. This treatment also stimulates natural healing processed in the treated area/s, resulting in many aesthetic benefits such as enhancing the tone, texture and appearance of the skin as well as improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and scars.

This treatment takes about 60 minutes. Initially, make up is removed and the skin is cleaned. A topical anaesthetic is then applied to the area/s to be treated. 10mls of blood is taken and this is then processed and concentrated platelet rich plasma (about 6mls) is harvested before being injected using a fine needle into the desired areas. A soothing moisturising bruise preventative cream is then applied.

It may take up to a few weeks for visible results and with two or three repeat treatments, you can expect the results of PRP treatment to last for up to 18 months.
